Good afternoon everyone, Many have expressed concern about how the COVID-19 pandemic is going to impact the future of Japantown. Please join representatives from Japantown groups who have come together to organize a response to the current crisis and learn more about how you can help sustain our Japantown. This will be a ZOOM online meeting.
There will be opportunities to ask questions as well as hear more about the efforts underway to mobilize support for community groups, cultural institutions and small businesses.
A separate Town Hall specifically for Japantown restaurants will be scheduled once the City provides updated guidelines on reopening.
Please send questions or concerns ahead of the meeting via email to info@theheartofjtown.org. It will help us shape the meeting agenda.
